Based on 139 reviewsReviews of Izakaya Nonki highlight its reputation as a popular Japanese restaurant in Cebu, known for fresh and diverse dishes ranging from sashimi and sushi to ramen and yakitori. Customers appreciate the cozy and casual atmosphere, making it suitable for both group gatherings and solo dining. The service is frequently described as friendly and attentive, with notable efforts from staff to accommodate guests’ needs. While food quality is generally praised for freshness and taste, some feedback points to occasional inconsistencies in dish temperature and texture. The restaurant also offers private rooms, though noise levels can vary. Overall, Izakaya Nonki is favored for its broad menu, welcoming environment, and good drink selections, making it a go-to spot for Japanese cuisine enthusiasts.
A Nonki restaurant chain in Cebu with different Japanese taste- Izakaya, very popular and crowded in Cebu and of course introduced by the local people, the taste is good, fresh. Good choice for Japanese foods There is also private room but it is a bit noisy.
Izakaya Nonki is a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner, especially if you're craving some fresh sashimi or Japanese dishes. The menu is diverse, offering everything from fresh sashimi to hearty ramen and tasty yakitori. The cozy ambiance makes it perfect for a laid-back meal, whether you’re with friends or dining solo. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the food comes out quickly without compromising quality. Portions are fair, and the flavors are spot on. My personal favorites include their sushi combo and their seasons cocktails. Prices are higher than average for the quality but fair. Overall, Izakaya Nonki is a must if you're looking for a decent Japanese restaurant in Cebu that offers fresh fish without worrying about getting sick.
Love their salmon and tuna sushi, and tea! Great service, friendly Staff.we stayed late but didn't pressure us to leave. Privacy when you enjoy your meals.with friends. We went to their old branch few meters away but my friends reservation is in their new branch. The manager herself drove us from the old branch to the new branch.
One of my go to restaurants when you want to have a good time. Great to have special events in this place. They have a good range of Japanese food. The taste is really something else. Good range of drinks raning from cold tea, shakes, cocktails, japanese beer, highball & sake.
Intimate Japanese cuisine experience--my introvert self is happy! Serving size is generous, I got their Shoyu Ramen (idk but it tastes different from the other shoyu's I've had from other restaurants ) but still rate it 3/5 since it's huge, barely finished the whole bowl. The Tonkatsu platter was a 3/5 - the side dish is cold especially the sashimi the tonkatsu is very chewy. Staff were not batting an eye when we asked for our bill, we kept clicking on the device they gave us lol. Service could be improved on NON-foreign customers Overall, it was a good experience!
This is the newer branch of my favorite Japanese restaurant. I have been coming back to this resto for more than 20 years. My favorites include Ebi tempura, salmon sashimi, sukiyaki, chawan Moshi, and several more I would regularly bring my guests here and they have never disappointed. I'm looking forward to experiencing their omakase in Nustar
